The woman was hospitalized after her husband beat her for refusing an abortion after she became pregnant with him.
Ronke Adeyemi, 33, who is rumored to be pregnant with another child, reportedly aborted her husband Bebu Abiodun Abbey, 35, for three months on Saturday, June 20, at her home in Ode-Irele, Ondo State.
Ronke's brother, Jimmy Adekanle, says Bebu beat his wife and put his hands in his private part in an attempt to remove the fetus from her womb.
The couple got married in August 2018, but their marriage was reportedly left to domestic violence.
Jimmy Adekanle said, "Our sister has long complained about the way her husband has abused her for every problem since their marriage."
"For them, we always solve problems because there is no perfect marriage, but this time his sin was his refusal to terminate a three-month pregnancy for him."
"The husband wants her to terminate the pregnancy, and when she refused, he continued to beat her and left wounds all over her face and body."
